About Us

Our candy journey began in 2008, with the launch of our first retail store “I Love Candy” in the Woodlands Mall in Houston,TX. The store was an instant hit with the locals. The teenagers danced in our bright and colorful store to the music while filling their bags with almost 300 varieties of candy. The grown-ups were equally excited enjoying the wide variety of unique and nostalgic candy that reminded them of their childhood and was not available anywhere else in the area. Everybody knew that “ I Love Candy” was the place to build their custom bag of favorite candies, buy giant sugar daddy’s, squishy candy pillows and unique candy.

We had a dream run from 2008-2012, but also decided to start our family in 2011 with the birth of our first child. Priorities started shifting and we wanted to focus on raising a family rather than working long hours in the mall daily. We got an opportunity to relocate to California at the same time, and decided to take a plunge without blinking an eye. After living in the beautiful Bay Area for almost 5 years, we decided to relocate back to Houston in 2018. While we came back and focused our on professional careers and family, somewhere deep inside the candy dream was still alive.

After patiently waiting for the right opportunity, “Peeya’s” was established in April 2024 with the launch of our online candy store, this time with the aim of bringing our one of a kind selection of candy to the entire United States 🇺🇸 and world eventually :)
